Can someone offer a master class in these subjects?  Boiled wool/oiled wool.  Are they both tip-top for the colder weather? 
This subject may still be to the forefront of Shooey's mind.  I'll probably doing further research myself come September, although I'm now well stocked with thick sweaters such as John Molloy.
Years and years ago, Jimmy brought up the name 'Manson'.  Charles of that ilk aside, I'd say it's a Scottish island kind of name.  Apparently stocked at Russell Street in the mid-late 80s.  TRS might remember them.
