Using O'Connell's As A Handy Guide

I find their website (which they perhaps only had constructed after much pulling of hair and gnashing of teeth: one hopes so) of enormous interest when browsing online.  If they truly are the last bastion in the USA (or, at least, in their part of it) I for one am going to pay attention: especially to their 'vintage' offerings.  It's possible, with some thought and imagination (and input from enthusiastic other posters, like Alvey) to track down very similar items here in the UK, thus avoiding excessive costs (not always the fault of O'Connell's themselves of course).

I would very much like to see a John Simons A-Z.  It might surprise some of us.

I occasionally still get emails from O'Connell's which always inspires me to investigate their offerings on line. I never buy anything from them nowadays but they are a useful reference.

I've never been on a mailing list since the final Russell Street years.
Can't even remember my e-mail address.
Or care to.
