Fagging -is a tradition that the middles just don`t understand and therefore despise- yet is an essential part of the British social system - a good fag can be a lord or a commoner- fagging is not about class - yet it is about position and hierachy- to understand it- and how it works one must have been a fag - and later- chosen a fag and been fagged upon.
