There's a little shop in my hometown who import their shirts directly from Italy. I own one of their BD's which has that 'organic' roll on the collar indeed, very nice. Has none of the traditional details, just two little shoulder pleats and is slimfitting which makes it suitable for evening wear too.
The Italians are good at updating some classic styles, if they manage to keep it simple that is
