That stuff is downright practical compared to his latest collection.
Thom on a lady. And what a lady indeed. I know I would.

The diaper front seersucker trousers are interesting, but probably and answer to a question no one will ever ask. There are a few good pieces in there, and I am always glad to see someone using "trad" stuff. But it's still a freakshow.
I think I read on the Sartorialist's site once that those male models are usually so stupid they often have trouble just walking down the catwalk without fucking up. Probably the same for the girls. Just fuck meat, really.
Someone needs to do a line of couture clothing for fat men.

Wait ....didn't i see these guys in the movie Priscilla Queen of the Desert?
You're right, Marc. The man is a menace. Now, if he'd paired a Tyroler jacket with those board shorts...

And you all say that there is not a place for Eric Glennie in the design universe?
The women's couture business has for decades featured similarly absurd outfits at the shows, which somehow get translated or watered down into (slightly?) more wearable clothes. How that will translate into menswear I don't know. These looks are so absurd, and unlike women's fashion there is relatively little movement of fashion in menswear. Still, Browne has gotten that Brooks Brothers deal, so somebody believes in the guy....
If nothing else, it's certainly good for a laugh; perhaps the funniest thread since some of the Glennie threads.
