Anyone like them? Tell us about your pairs. How long have you had them, and how do they look.
What do you wear them with?

do you mean dress boots then yes, but i don't own any now nor have i ever. i did years ago own good old fashioned $hitkicker work boots bought new at Sears. i don't wear them anymore as i've given up my antisocial behavior. now I would like a nice pair of dress boots.
^ MooseMan are those socks PINK ! ! ! gotta love 'em
I love my Alden pebble grain chuckas with rubber soles. I will soon be putting them away for spring. They are great with cords and khakis. I will miss them.
AC, Summers are too hot for chuckas down here in my part of the great southwest.
I have the A-E Stanford suede chukka of a few years back. I also have the A-E York zipper boot in brown. My third pair of dressy ankle boots is a very nice pair of Faconnable chukka boots in a color similar to A-E's chili. (Far better made than some of the suede Faconnable chukkas I have seen in recent years.)
Of other styles of dressy ankle boots, Chelseas have just seemed a little "young mannish" to me, possibly because they were quite popular with my pals at Oxford long ago. Conversely, lace-up (wingtip, captoe, etc.) dress boots struck me as extremely old-fashioned over 50 years ago.
Jodhpurs I have never really made up my mind about. I think they tend to look a little theatrical, which may not be altogether a bad thing.

yes, i quite like my clarks desert boots and my suede chukkas. not too keen on jodhpurs / chelsea boots, but would love a bair of - say - trickers brogue boots.
and oh, forgot the good, humble black monkey boots i quite like to wear on winter.
Shooey:
I only have one pair that may qualify. A pair of tan scotch grain, storm welted, dainite soled boots that look more or less like WWII ammo boots only with speed hooks at the top. Got 'em on sale cheap from Tyrwhitt about a year ago. I've worn 'em for outdoorsy stuff and in wet, sloppy weather with tweeds and suchlike. Good looking, hard wearing and easy care.
None of those pics posted are the ankle boots that i'm talking about, except for the ones posted by yachtie. The uppers stand too high on the leg. l rarely see ankle boots with laces (not really the best look for ankle boots). l think ankle boots look best when they have an elastic side disguised with leather.
Ankle boot = a very low cut boot.

l've got some smashing pairs of ankle boots. Unfortunately, l can't post photo's at the moment.
I got a pair of the Peal desert boots w/crepe sole and I really like them.
Thanks Horace, glad you like it. Big fish in small pond works for me.
I picked up a pair of handgrade C&J boot which look like sofistaicated chukka, the modele is Campden and they are black box.
I have many folds on the top, much more than on oxfords, is it normal ?
I normaly wear 43 but as there were only a pair of 9,5 E, i took them. Are they 43,5 or 44 by the way ?
They fit rather good as they don't hurt and I don't lose them, I may ad an inner sole for a tighter fit.
I only wore them once, they look like cowboy boots when I look at them when they are on my feet so I feel davasted.
The last is 350.
Any information on this last ?
I got them for 375 euros instead of 550 euros
