SI

Brothers,

Just thought I'd pass along an interesting discovery I made yesterday.  Sports Illustrated has followed the example of the New Yorker, National Geographic, and other formerly great magazines, and has created a database of all its past issues. However, for the moment this treasure trove is available online, free of charge.  One can search for individual articles, or, much better, one can browse individual issues page by page.  The clothing ads from the 50s and 60s should delight any fan of Ivy, trad, or what have you; and those with an interest in a bygone age can spend many happy hours running through issue after issue.  Just go to www.si.com and select "The Vault." Cheers.

Re: SI

Thanks for the tip.  I found a nice article on beagling , from 1991.

I just looked at that, and I could not get anything to find.
