I recently watched an episode of Charlie Rose from around the time Sotheby's auctioned off the entire estate of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor (some 40,000 items). Towards the end of the interview, one of the guests mentions that most of the auction will be televised. Does anyone know if this actually happened? If so, where would one obtain a DVD of the auction?
EDIT: I realize the official catalogues cover a large portion of the items but, IIRC, not all. Is that right?

I know that Charlie Watts bought a few odds & ends because he dug the Duke and at the time there were old shirts of the Dow's on display in shop windows in London to act as an advert for the sale. Hawes & Curtis had them on Jermyn Street & there was a windowfull in the Burlington Arcade too.
