Always wanted to try an Oxxford but haven't been able to get one down in Oz. Want to see how the Oxxford cut suits my body.
What are you opinions on the following ebay suits?

Someone bought the first suit.

Maybe it's just me, however I would not purchase a used suit, no matter how "gently used" it might be, as with the first suit. Candidly, that suit looks a little rough around the edges, especially by the shoulders and the trouser waist. Plus, if the sleeves need to be shortened or lengthened, same for the trousers, it's going to be difficult because they're finished.

Yes, i'll be watching the auction closely. Certainly alot better looking than that scruffy first suit.
Why would that first suit be so wrinkled on the shoulders and on the trouser waist?

lf l get an Oxxford, l only hope the trousers will fit o.k. On a Borrelli, the trousers are a total disaster.....not even MTM could cater for me. l'm a hard fit in RTW suits. Driving 2000+ miles (at Christmas time) for bespoke is becoming increasingly tempting.
l'm just curious, if the shoulders of a jacket are slightly too wide, does this mean that the whole suit has to be taken apart and recut. Or will a simple shoulder adjustment do the trick without effecting the balance of a jacket?

Are all Oxxfords created equal or are some better made than others?
