Beer is consumed regularly as a breakfast drink in Bavaria. I will sometimes enjoy a beer with lunch.

I would think being buzzed in the workplace is a very trad, 1950's thing. However, it shouldn't be done in a field where a lot of manual labor/large machine use is involved.
