Re: London Ivy: Random.

Do you know anything about the warrior Sta-Prest?  The price is good but I'm not sure if I want 7in bottoms.

Re: London Ivy: Random.

Ebay Harringtons are closer to what was worn in London in the day than Baracuta.

In the same way as Crombies were a copy of the brand name.

I have a bright red Harrington from ebay. Black would be the more traditional colour.

Re: London Ivy: Random.

Getting a Warrior (or some other knockoff brand) is probably more in step with the spirit in which they were worn, in terms of working class streetwear. $250 is a lot for a Baracuta, but I suppose there is a certain cache value in its "authenticity"

BoO, dont have any personal experience with their Sta-prest.  I would imagine they'd grade the hems depending on size (30" waist with 7" hem, 32" waist with 7.5" etc)

Re: London Ivy: Random.

Sta prest used to be popular in stone colour.

Air Force blue was the best colour they offered, in my opinion.

Of course we were not bothered about natural fibres then.

As it happens the Blue are my favourites. I do have some M&S boxers too though. The worst I ever had were from Thomas Pink.
