Re: Savile Row Timeline

What is missing is a list of all the mergers and acquisitions of tailoring houses, which is quite detailed and complex.

Whatever you do, don't f**kin' post a link to "Come on Eileen" cos if I see Rowland in F**kin dungarees one more time , I'll castrate myself with a rusty farm implement....

Re: Savile Row Timeline

Mmmmmm - Not so sure that quite worked this time 'round. I need to work on the concept a little more...

I've deleted the posts above now with the author's permission - That was the first of my "Guest Russells", Greyhound, the Modculturalist who made up a quarter of the original 'Russell' team. I thought as I'll be seeing them all again over the next couple of weeks before we all get together in Paris that I'd feature each one of them as 'Russell' for an evening just for old time's sake.

Next week I'm having my mate Paddy down to visit so he'll be a 'Guest Russell' for an evening too. I'll signpost when he's coming up so it won't be quite so 'stand alone'.

As was probably obvious from Greyhound's posts his contribution to Russell was his zeal.

I remain a cheery old buffer - Hopalong Jim.
