Brown nubuck driving mocs, baby blue piqué socks, beige cord jeans (rolled up), brown leather belt, navy BD, natural-coloured Harrington.
MOL the first stuff that fell out of the wardrobe this morning...
One of those early summer days where it might stay chilly, it might piss down, or it might end up being a scorcher.

Have fun.

And remember, you can always 'casual it down' later by tying that regimental tie around your head, getting roaring drunk, and putting some Heavy Metal on the hi-fi.
The chicks dig it.

Just because: I always wanted to post four times in a row in this thread... wink

sand dessies, snow-leopard argyles, faded khakis, Reyn-Spooner 3BD reversed-print 'pullover' shirt (underwater themed panel print with octopus, shark, moray eel, shells, lobster, fish, jellyfish and a few other things I wouldn't carestep on)

Re: WHY are you wearing...?

it's rather rainy and cold-ish up here now, so lets take this:
off-white dna groove ss bd shirt w/ pink/sky/navy/teal/red/burgundy/what-have-you plaid madras-esque check, burgundy sleeveless v neck, dark denim jeans (h&m) w/ 3/4 inch turnups, black belt, burgundy socks, old plain black clarks lace-ups (not superb shoes, actually far from it but decent enough for a rainy day), beige loro piana short mac (f---ing love this one), black brolly to shove around and keep the raving loonie youths + other badly-behaved citizens at bay (and the rain as well).

Re: WHY are you wearing...?

Aaaah, cool and showery. Very pleasant after weeks of baking sunshine.
Tan suede chukkas, beige/navy/grey argyles, faded khakis, tan leather belt, khaki cotton lawn shirt, navy sack blazer. Navy/beige/black 2 1/8" wide repp tie in inside pocket, just in case the urge to wear a tie overcomes me. S/S Seiko on black grain leather strap, my 21st birthday present. Beige Brooks mac and black brolly to keep it all dry.

Re: WHY are you wearing...?

Sand desert boots, burgundy socks, aubergine-coloured cord slacks (darted front, uncuffed), old black leather belt w. brass buckle, ivory BD, black merino cardie, natural-coloured G9.
Making the most of the fact that today's weather is cool enough for cords.

Re: WHY are you wearing...?

I like your look Mr. Moose.

I'm wearing Brown Cole Haan penny loafers and a Compeed blister plaster on my right heel. The loafers were a recent purchase and since it was warm I went sockless a few days ago. The loafers drew blood. They're very nice though, for some reason I don't like Bass Weejuns that much (I like them on others, but not on my feet). That said, I really do like the flat looking late 50's Weejuns featured in the old ads posted on other threads. They look wider and more flat.
...also, denims with small turn-ups
Salmon colour Brooks pinpoint BD
Navy cotton blazer with patch pockets, no padding, minimal lining (it would be nicer with three buttons and no darts but it's nice enough as it is)
Burnt orange socks
M&S boxers
60's Detroit and 50's New York in the iPod to reduce grumpiness in the morning

All sounding good!

Here's one that won't be making the ATWTFAYW thread at AAAT today:

black chelseas
ultramarine piqué socks
faded bootcut jeans, the kind that were in style a few years ago, with a few seams too many
old black leather belt
grey T-shirt under navy Guernsey sweater
top half of tobacco poplin suit (darted, double vent, sky blue half lining)

Old Khaki shorts, old faded Polo RL twill BD (used to be blue), blue Topsiders.

Because it is Sunday and I am at the office. Desecration going a ways towards making weekend work fun?

Both looking good, Lewis! I like the 'Tony Blair' eyes too...

Here today:
Chunky dark brown Clarks walking shoes (heavy showers today)
beige/navy/grey Burlingtons
H&M super-lightweight khakis (good these; enough room around the gut and lunchbox, nice and very slim in the leg. Apparent these are 'regular fit' - their slim fit must be good for, say, a cat). Rolled up; they'll need a couple of washes before I hem them.
brown leather belt
french-blue BD with 2 1/8" black Brooks knit tie
midnight green cotton knit cardie
beige hip-length mac
black brolly

Re: WHY are you wearing...?

An attempt to look vaguely respectable today:

sand desert boots
black/deep red/off-white Burlington argyle socks
H&M khakis, rolled-up
brown leather belt
ivory BD (C&A)
light-coloured tweed 2B sack jacket (Brooks)
silk Argyll and Sutherland tie, 3" wide (to keep the whole thing from looking too anaemic)
black-faced GMT watch on 'Bond' strap
