Re: Manton's suit from Hitchcock

Grayson, they're all good, but the POW is extra fab.  And that worsted ligher grey -- what kind of cloth is that?  I'm looking for a cloth that would duplicate the NxNW suit -- that particular shade of grey, but I don't know where to look.

On second thought, Grayson, I wonder if there's really enough handwork in those suits.....

Very nice suits. Do you find that three piece suits "age" you. For some reason, I always associate them with gentlemen >50.

Re: Manton's suit from Hitchcock

It was my tailor, a devotee of vests who even wears them with double-breasted suits, who first got me to try them, and I'm glad I followed his suggestion.  In addition to the sartorial qualities of a vest, I've learned of a completely unrelated advantage: vests can have an aphrodisiac effect, at least on members of the opposite sex.  The line forms to the right for vests smile
