Topics like "Trad Mating Rituals" and incessant local tailor inquiries are what makes the other forum go round.
I recall there was also something inane about body odor.
To me what is odd is this: this whole paranoid feeling that a few have that FNB himself is "against" any of these other forums or people. True, my homies V, Icroy., and Grayson occasionally take a (well-deserved) shot against someone, but FNB himself has, if anything, shown remarkable restraint. And my own review of Mant's book was, I thought, fair. Sure, I got a dig or two in at the Monk, but my criticisms were valid and I gave credit where credit was due. I like the other boards for what the offer, but I think Grayson's reporting of others' perception is right: we do have good content and we don't take ourselves too seriously.

It is very popular with people in the industry. Im getting invited to more and more affairs. Unfortunately though I enjoy the company of almost everyone in the industry thoroughly, I cannot attend all of them. Most of them consider me a very friendly journalist, probably because of my amateur status, not needing to sell copies and what not. And also they love my personal style, and likewise I admire many of theirs. I was supremely flattered by one large clothing store's exec ( A very well dressed one at that) asking me for my tailor's phone number.
I have discussed some interesting ideas with some of them and it is amazing the sort of creative suggestions you can collaborate on when there is no ualterior motive sensed.
