^Some of those are in the little blue book, but great images nonetheless.
Aye. Great to see them, even those we're seeing again.
Cheers Sidewinder.
Sorry, I don't know the 'little blue book'?. These are from a few old Esquires I've had since the 80s. One is the October '62 issue which was used in the first Blue Note book by Mr Marsh. I was amazed when I first saw that book in the early 90s with the image of the dude in the natural shoulder jacket reading cos it was so familiar from my old Esquire. I used to study this 'back to college' issue for hours.
Apologies for the repetition of images. Will seek out some more, hopefully fresher!
Not a problem side-y, if I maybe familiar, these bear repeating. Again. And. Again.
What fxh said. Great images worthy of posting again and again.
I'm aware that the last three scans are not 'Ivy' but thought it interesting to include them as they are contemporaneous to the 1962 images that precede them but personify an earlier style similar to the 50s look offered by Austin's of London.
