The secret reason I post in these kinds of threads is that I can always look back a day or two to find out where my keys or my lighter are.

The InterNet is a boon for us older people.

Ray Ban look-a-likes - I think I bought them on the front at Brighton a while back. £5, if that.
Blue/White Candy stripe OCBD - Sero: 'The Purist'.
Chinos from Tesco! Flat front, uncuffed 'Cherokee' pale Khaki Khakis.
J. Press Cordo woven belt.
Air hose.
Camp Mocs in 'Cactus' from LL Bean.

School Sports Day today so I shall add an old Navy Brooks Makers 3/2 Sack Blazer to spectate this afternoon - Pub lunch first, obviously. Like I'm going to watch the Egg & Spoon sober... Dream on!

A bit more 'Felix' today:

Khaki Poplin Sack Suit - 3/2, J. Press, '80's.
Blue/White Candy stripe OCBD - Sero. J. Simons.
An Aquascutum Repp tie - More or less a Sandhurst stripe. The stripes are of a slightly different width to the Sandhurst tie tho'.
Mid-Grey Hose - M&S!
Fairmount Cordovan Penny Loafers. Really softening up well.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I fancied busting the Seersucker jacket today too (The top half of an unwearable Brooks Makers suit) but it's overcast here today. Blazer & Chinos it is then with a Blue Brooks BD. No socks with boats shoes I think & after yesterday's conversations I fancy sporting a striped Surcingle.

I have the Wine, but rather wish I had that dull Breton Red one today for a bit of colour. I'll go with the Guards Stripe instead I think. Can't go wrong with that.

Here it is as a Ribbon:

Re: Ivy League style for today

Leaden July skies here too:

white Dunlop tennis shoes, pale yellow piqué socks, H&M jeans rolled up, black brogued belt, the 'cheap and cheerful' short-sleeved BD again - very bright check in red, white, yellow, blue. Might pass as madras.
Navy lambswool v-neck. Natural-coloured G9. Black brolly.
