Re: Horace's Classic Traditional American Style Archive -

It's unfortunate that most of the photos linked to by Horace are no longer hosted at the image host.

Tumblr is the worst. Just a bunch of people "rebologging" stuff from elsewhere.  It's immensely diluting and redundant.  Not that it's not a great source for good images.  Heh.

In any event, welcome back.

That's a beauty. Shame his right shoulder appears to be a bit too wide.

I notice he's pulled. (I must buy a fedora and start wearing suits.)

Hanging around in lounges also helps.

There's a crowd dangerously close to that plane's prop.

Re: Horace's Classic Traditional American Style Archive -

I already have 2 caps (one for summer and one for colder times, and both of very high quality) plus a knit cap to go with pea coat when weather calls for it (a depressing thought), but so far no fed. New quality feds over here don't come cheap, and I would probably only wear one on rare occasions if I did get one, due to peer pressure I suppose i.e. I don't need all the comments. Then again, I do like that 40s/50s flavour, so I'm always tempted . . .

I'm in the same boat.  I haven't pulled the trigger on the real deal yet.  Always tempted.
