LOL! Richard James "sic" man never fails in bringing entertaining material. Who was it who said it here before? about the bunch of eunuchs discussing actual sexual intercourse with the hottest women featured in the Just Because Thread?
Well, the crowd over there is comprised of a small "elite" who owns subpar custom clothes and don't know any better, plus their followers who can only enjoy vicariously said subpar clothes through their I/O devices and in actuality have a wardrobe that isn't even fit for comparison. Funniest fact is, they all share (as this glaring example shows) a freaky fascination with pictures and physical attributes of other males... the more tragicomic individuals even post their allegoric Freudian slips.
After all, it's the Real Housewives forum...Such reaction to clothes that belong in a far superior category than what they normally discuss, and on a person in much better physical shape to boot, is quite understandable... Actually, I am happy for them that they can all gather and pose for their next shoe circle as catharsis against their shortages (while holding hands and doing a Rockettes spiel). But I do hope that no trade person has (yet again) the unfortunate fate of getting pulled into their awkward "social" gatherings for the sake of business!
The original topic perfectly exemplifies the quintessential iGent thread: Repetitively trying to articulate and contrast "representative" tailoring styles from Rome, Napoli, Milan, etc. with a knowledge than can only go as deep as a couple of lo-res pics from Noveporte.it and a mainstream Japanese magazine article, recycled blabber from crowd described above, plus one or two random tips from hotel concierges. No wonder the topic has gone in circles since the forums, er, fora, started without any hope for meaningful conclusions. Talk about perfect material for engaging conversation during SFmeetups!
Notice also how they conveniently omit the back views of the jackets, what really shows the skill level of a tailor... Comparisons would be devastating!

I must never meet these people. I would probably tower over most of them. It would mess with my head, to be surrounded by all these short men in suits and pocket squares and shiny shoos. Most of the people I know are a couple inches taller than me. Must be somehting in the water.
Losers with nothing better to do. A pathetic thread:

The Styleforum "trend" of stripping and then re-polishing shoes comes to Andyland, with AAAC's usual thrifty twist - instead of ruining Lobbs, this guy is ruining Allen Edmonds Park Avenues, the world's most boring shoe. Seriously guys, quit it. To echo my earlier phrase, if you want merlot Park Avenues, you may purchase them at any store that sells merlot Park Avenues. There is no need to manufacture them. I hate to think what these guys are doing to their cars.

Member David Reeves makes his opinion on people who wear Gucci glasses known (act quickly, I have the feeling this will be redacted)! AAAC trivia - the original poster is some kind of insanely boring, low-grade shill for a sunglasses website, and keeps posting questions about fashionable glasses that the AAAC crowd takes seriously and answers with: "Well I prefer a sober Lenscrafters frame over this FASHION junk, plus I need special lenses because of my astigmatism and asthma so I can't even BUY this FASHION JUNK."
I remain mystified by guys who can't believe their shoes don't remain in showroom condition. What do they do about their cars?
$49.99! Outrageous.
