Lots of inanity on this thread - http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=89231. Why bother?

The context is the multi-page flame war between Cruiser and his enemies. So Audi S5 TC chips in an irrelevant post in Italian tailoring. He is either a moron or a troll.

Welljordan on the wrong forum. All he has to do is send a free pair to Gilchrist who will plug his Surgical appliance tat on AAACruiser.

I like Sator's approach. People underestimate the amount of work that a fitting can generate which coupled with the delays in payment because the garment isn't ready can seriously damage a tailor. By doing the drafting himself and not expecting the tailor to spend what looks like close on three days unpaid work he is gets the item he wants, a tailor who is still talking to him (), and the fun (if you like that sort of thing) of really participating in the making of the item.
Personally I find the whole tailoring business fascinating but never wanted to get directly involved. I have a lot of respect for Sator actually doing this for all the reasons he states in his post and wish him well.
