I think he looks alright, although I suppose I'm a bit biased.
Thanks for keeping us all on our toes!
I see that the guy from Made to Measure was in attendance. I thought he retired to a monastery after the Style Forum boys got after him. Flusser looked mentally ill as usual, and I was sorry to hear that Mr. Drake Drakerson from Drakes was there, because I really like Drakes. Alas.
People who are the men's clothing business really need to figure out if catering to the iGentry will actually help their bottom line. My suspicion is that it is utter poison. What could be worse than trying to sell your shit to a group with these qualities:
-Cheap
-Incredibly fussy and picky about meaningless details
-Enormous time wasters who expect lots and lots of personal attention
-Have tastes far, far outside the mainstream
-Expect anything they buy to last for many years, and want to be able to return it if, like, their dog barfs on it
-Maniacally resistant to anything new
-All want to be different from one another
It sounds nightmarish to me.
EDIT: Wait, is this the great "Kato" Katon, father of the LL Bean Catalog scan threads in the trad forum? Someone page Popeye, he's your biggest fan!

Do ebay crackheads count as inanity?

Some inanities:

Holdfast has a blog! His story about the falcon was actually kind of charming. Color me surprised.

Bleating about pleating!

Yet another Andyites who toils thanklessly at Macys (I think the great Pink and Green works there too). Cuffers (the high-priced streetfighter) takes time from his busy day to admit that even a churl in a fresh, clean black shirt can look OK. I'm sure that black-shirt wearing varlets everywhere are sighing with relief.

The World-Famous Black Suit Thread gets political, and maintains a stupidity index of 96%.

Guuuuuhhhh.

Blather about Allen-Edmonds in which an iGent compares shoe height to boner length, seriously.

Dude, just have sex with the shoes, follow your bliss.
SF'er wants to play dress-up. "Come on, guys, I'll be Indy! I've got the boots and shit so I'm him. Vox, you're the Nazi guy, OK? Which of you guys wants to be the Kate Capshaw girl? Come on, guys, we can only use one---ok Moo, good job..."

Man has a date with a "sculpture" and wants to know if his 10 year old AE wingtips are ok. For a watercolor, yes. Sculptures however, like architecture and the finest Greek vase decoration, demand the best Lobb has to offer:
