Yeah a dark shade of that green thats in the shirt would look great! Bit less of a statement too

Nice shirt. Plaid shirts like that I consider a bit casual, or a "sport" shirt, and so usually forego a tie with them. It looks good just as you wear it there. Of course it would also work with a cardigan or blazer or just under a windbreaker or harrington job.

/\ Yux when the weather turns a bit warmer that stone Makers would work great with khakis even though they're tonally similar ... Tropical Ivy all the way if you skip the heavy gunboats in favor of desert boots, penny loafers, mocs, canvas sneakers ......
I do have a polo shirt in a similar shade I wear in summer with chinos and desert boots, so I may give it a go. I prefer a lighter cloth in the tropics is my only misgiving.

Yuca, I'd be reaching straight for navy chinos or worsteds with that hot little number.
^ ha ..Daktari and Clarence the Cross Eyed Lion!
Great shirt capture Yuca...
I've got that Daktari BB shirt and it is one of my favorites…same label, by the way. I even had Mercers send me swatches of khaki colored oxford cloth to replicate it. I wear it with navy chinos.
Acid. Acapulco Gold. Ayahuasca. The list goes on with what that shirt will go through. Just kidding. Will wear it with jeans and no moustache.
Nah..tache up and wigout Chief...you know you want to, he he...
/\ flabbergasted Ollie, outrageous finds, how do you do it? that Brooks Brothers and that JIB cloth ... too much!
Yeah. I really like the cut of your jib (cloth).
I really like the MTC Jib; the open patch pockets are an especially nice touch and rare to come across. It was tagged a 40L (original maker tag) but thankfully fit like a glove. What luck that the two items of interest in the entire shop happened to be the right size. Stansh, it's on the MiMo strip of Biscayne just before the design district; same side of the street as the Vagabond Motel. I think it might be called FLY something or other. There were lots of nice mid century knitwear and cardigans on the shelves but it was too damn hot to try anything like that on.
Hah I know, I know...
It was in the high 80's and the guy's A/C was broken, just standing in the shop was agonizing. He told me he'd considered closing for the day and actually knocked off an extra 10% for the anguish. Trying on knitwear in that shop would have been tantamount to the Sicilian Bull torture method used by the Ancient Greeks - google it.
