Dexter......king of loafers, I love that pinking.
I prefer 'em to Weejuns anytime.
Well played AC, it's always good to have a few spare NOS pairs knocking around.....helps one sleep at night I find.
Do those say 666 inside? My 'Imperals are numbered the same in the same place?
Thanks boys, i am an extra wide, a US 11 EE or EEE.
I have been lucky over the years to have found a few pairs of Nos Dexter loafers and i agree with Woof.....They are far superior to Weejuns.
Way to go AC. I know it's not hard fitting your hamfoot into decent sandals.

Interesting, a sack with slant pockets. That striped green herringbone looks fantastic.
Is it just me or are the sleeves on the Stanley Blacker angled as well?
Wondering how that's going to work out... I have a feeling that one might end up getting returned.
Great score Oliver, love the bottom one!
Thanks Wooly!
Comes with a bit of a history lesson for me. I'd never heard of the King's Highway; sort of the Ivy League Spice Route: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King's_Highway_%28Charleston_to_Boston%29
Is that the Brooks store in NY? It sure looks like it.
Hope I don't make anyone angry by posting this with *old* ivy finds, but I came across something that might be of interest to folks here and I didn't feel it was worth a new thread or bumping an ancient one....
Yesterday, I got a high-end catalog in the mail I've never heard of - maus & hoffman - and i see they offer a made in USA version of the G9 harrington jacket (for $325):

They call it a "Cruiser Poplin Jacket", but it has all the exact details of a traditional G9. I found this interesting because I have never seen a modern made-in-USA harringtons before. This company has an interesting assortment of very expensive clothes.

Interesting. Looks pretty good. I wish they had some better pictures of it.
Here's an XXL on ebay with pictures. Looks like this one's made in Scotland.

I have a tweed sack from circa 1950 with slanted pockets. All other details are standard ivy, except it had 3 on the cuff when I got it. (It now has 2 on the cuff but I regret it.) I've been promising a photo for years but it will happen.
