I've tried to accustom myself to my vintage summer-weight jackets, but they all contain large quantities of man-made fibres and it just isn't me. Super light all cotton is definitely more my bag, and I imagine less sweaty.
Thanks!
I'd like to head to Colombia. Possibly also the Dominican Republic and/or Puerto Rico. (The latter was discussed in a thread on The Wardrobe a few years ago.) If you have any hotspots in any of those countries then I'll definitely be interested.
Congrats on the Brooks wash and wear suit. Will you be pairing it with an end on end BD and loafers?

Sounds good. Are the white shirts broadcloth? I imagine in your climate Oxford could be a bit much, particularly under a suit jacket. I'd say wear a tie, but either way I'm sure it's a good look.
I have one lightweight suit that I have only worn once. If our summer ever arrives or I make it to warmer climes I hope to enjoy mine again, with broadcloth or end on end, Rancourt pennies and maybe a knit tie.
/\ for sure the white shirts are broadcloth, you're right that oxford cloth is frequently too heavy for the climate down here
you're also right that suits look better with ties, generally speaking, almost always, but sometimes it's just too hot here
this place should be like Hawaii or Manila, where business is routinely conducted in shirt sleeves .......
Crikey, what a nice find!

Oooops.... sorry everyone... wrong forum....
