The Slack and the Sack...

With many thanks to a man who posts here from time to time for letting me know that 'That Larry David Trademark Jacket' was, in fact, a 'Slack Jacket'.
He knows who he is (Actually he seems to know most things!).

So... Sack Jackets formal, Slack Jackets the rest of the time!
I've got room for both, & because the Slack is new to me I've got lots of extra room for it.
Any opinions on the Slack or 'Artisan' jacket? That Ivy-esq unfitted fit with no shoulders, darts or fuss? Just a jacket that will do for most cool occasions... and if the jacket doesn't fit the occasion... should you really be there?

Nice to have a new obsession.

Seriously, I've seen some cool Flusser ones & I'm hungry for more & for more info on them.
Feed me & I'll dig out some really obscure quotes for you!   ;-)

Smiles

" ... Ubi bene, ibi patria, which being roughly translated means, 'Wherever there's a handout, that's for me, man.' "
Alistair Cooke. 1968.

In Seersucker this 3 Btn, no shoulder, no dart, unlined jacket may well have that 'F*ck it in Nantucket' look that I know you prize, Miles.
How goes your tour of the Deep South, btw?

terry.

Edit: Sadly this is darted. Next time I'll wear my glasses...
