I suppose it`s not actually the manly japes and rough and tumble of this pic that disturbs me , it`s the gratuitous wearing of the crew socks and black ankle boots that i find particularly indecent.

Ahh! Is that what they are! Then i`m perfectly happy to relinquish previous reservations regarding the appropriate choice of footwear.Proper wrestling boots would be eminently manly and decent fotwear for such an occassion.

It appears that the mainstream male in the past was as ambivalent as the modern male is to homoerotic advertisments. Simply look at the popularity of Abercrombie & Fitch among young, presumably heterosexual, males.
