Conrad Clare here: http://www.handlebarclub.co.uk/ukgallerya.shtml has a particularly glorious handlebar moustache.  Interestingly, handlebar moustaches are about as rare as men wearing leather soled shoes here in the United States, I haven't seen one in years.  I would bet their meetups at the Windsor Pub are real barnburners, more laughs than Sartorial Petulance I would bet..

Edited to point out that Alf Jarrald at the bottom of the page linked above has the most impressive sideburns I have ever seen.  You could hide a family of squirrels in there.  I wonder if their rather eccentric appearance subjects them to ridicule?
