George Plimpton, Harvard '48, has been an avid follower of his alma mater's football fortunes. A fond memory was the 1968 game when Harvard scored 16 points in the last 42 seconds to tie Yale.
"I remember leaping up and spilling my flask into the raccoon coat of the man in front of me," Plimpton said. "He never knew it. And I imagine the contents of that flask are still soaked into that coat."
