^ And I see they have the Woolrich Arctic Parka down the bottom too.

I bought my first Pendleton shirt about 18 years ago, from a dealer specialising in Americana. It had a button down collar (and the third at the neck) and I've never seen another like it. I only own one now - in a very pale yellow - because they're so damn itchy, even worn over a t-shirt. I once had an excellent jacket, though, with poppers and a very thick lining throughout. It looked nice with 501s and Weejuns. I think they're now made up in Mexico, which seems a shame.
The NYT recommendation to wear a Pendleton Board Shirt under a dark suit is just ridiculous. Now a Sir Pendleton button down wool shirt under a cord sport coat with Levi’s is a look that will work from the Bay Area north. From Santa Cruz south just wear a Board Shirt over a t-shirt plus your trunks.
Folks back east/down south should stick with the curriculum and get their tartan jackets and/or trousers from Brooks. Black watch of course.
I am going to pull the trigger on a Pendleton in black watch. Just need to decide between the Board Shirt (straight hem with bias pockets) or the Lodge Shirt (shirt tail hem).
Check out the Royal Pendletons! These guys wear nothing but Pendletons!
The organ player even got married in Pendleton to a woman in a pendleton dress!

They got a real raw surf/ punk/swamp/ garage sound... I've seen them live and they are great!
I was talking to those guys and we were raving about the Beach Boys and stuff... One of them had a very cool sportscoat with more than natural shoulders, the other bloke had this smart look with slick back hair and a white OCBD under a plaid Pendleton shirt jacket...
I love Pendleton stuff. Finding good vintage Pendleton stuff is getting very hard!

Hard Bop Hank,
Great reference to the Royal Pendletons! Their stuff on the Sore Losers soundtrack is solid. Where did you see them?
I've seen them on their last Germany tour in Munich and in the Rhineland. They were a blast! And they are totally obsessed about vintage Pendleton. And very nice guys, really friendly people!
I just wanted to bring this to your attention: particularly that posting from Technocrat. What a nice look he's suggesting there: very relaxed. But it might be as well to invest in a pack of Fruit Of The Loom t-shirts (or anything in that department that takes your fancy): the buggers can have you sweating and itching.
I very nearly bought one of their thick coats (football buttons) last October, but it was a shade too tight around the middle. It would have been a good buy at £50.
Tracking down their older, American-made offerings on Ebay is good fun. Did they begin outsourcing around the late 90s? I think Mexico was their first port of call. I had a Mexican-made shirt from Russell Street around 2005.
Nothing to get excited about, you older gentlemen. Neither muff or jugs are on offer.
What do people think of their tweed jackets? I've just picked one up on Ebay for a few pounds, basically to replace the disappointing Stanley Blacker I bought at the beginning of the year (or end of last year) with its boxy shoulders. The shoulders on this look better though - needless to say - it is darted. But I sense a little price-slashing is going on on Ebay.
