This thread is ten years old and purely political. It dates back to the time when people were able to discuss politics on the forum nicely. But it's 2018 now so I'm moving it into the cock pit.
I must add that I read McCain's biography and, leaving aside politics, he was a brave and stoical individual who served his country well. Trump wouldn't be fit to clean his shoes.

Quick note - all political views are welcomed here in their correct place (good call on that woofboxer), but one "political" view that is NOT tolerated is racism of any kind. A post in here crossed that line. I'm happy to actually have a conversation about the merits or demerits of a political figure or movement, but not one that traffics in disgusting racial stereotypes.
