Samuel Johnson described Pembroke College, Oxford as a 'Nest of Singing Birds' and so too is the LL and all that I can say is: 'Floreat'.
Slightly off topic question about Alden: is he doing his best impression of Gary Cooper (from that picture of Cooper on the old site's homepage), or does he suck on a lemon before each picture? I don't think I've ever seen a picture of him without that scowl (or is it a sneer?).
To me, Alden is no gold nugget but as far as forum owners/moderators go, at least he patronizes custom makers and wears some high quality clothes even if they're not everyone's beer as they say in Germany. He's not a pretender.
I understand that LL was the best place to source current information on SR bespoke? I'm curious to find out more about Norton & Son since there's less generally written about them - though ultimately this time I will probably go slightly off-row with the likes of a Litmann when the time comes.
