Gentlemen:
I run the blog Ivy-Style.com, which most of you have probably heard of.
I recently ran a post about Ivy Magazine from 1957:
http://www.ivy-style.com/100th-post-ivy-magazine-1957.html
Now that I've scanned the magazine I really don't need it anymore. And since many of you are really into this kind of stuff, I figured I'd let you know that it's for sale.
Asking price is $250, plus shipping to the UK.
Like "Take Ivy," it's a collector's item that's sure to appreciate in value. PM me if interested.
Just a humble guy trying to make a living from Ivy on the 'Net.
Happy Fourth of July,
C.
P.S. Apologies for the site being down lately. There's been bandwidth overload since the Asahi Shimbun story.
Chris - This is an ebay item surely?
Do you perchance have any Vintage Porn magazines-something along the lines of a 1st edition playboy or perhaps any early Hustlers.
many thanks in eager anticipation
CM
Actually, CMC - If you're here to banter -
Answer The Big One?
Why are you doing an 'Ivy' blog?
We all knew you as a curly-chinned 'Dandy'. The new you is... well, new to us.
Help us to love you a bit better?
Best -
Rrrrrrruss!!!

It's like Grub Street over there.
A funny little point: Chens latest post starts with him saying how proud he is of never having tried to say that 'Trad' does or does not exist on his Ivy-Style blog. If only he could get off that easily! He has often used the term in the past on Ivy-Style and by doing so shows that he is absolutely a part of the online sausage factory that has been the 'Trad' scam.
A further inconvenient truth is that his first approach to Classic Traditional American style was trying to write an article on 'Trad':

After that he decided to move on to Ivy:

You're a real 100% product of the 'Trad' tease my old pal, like it or not. Now back to work with you!

Sorry to hijack the thread:
I still have a 1974 Goodies annual up in the loft which I haven't really read since the late '70s.
The price on the net for these amongst collectors is almost 1 USD, so it can probably only really go up in value.
Asking price is 50 cents + 38 USD insured shipping to anywhere on the planet.
Lord, I've a ton of stuff too come to think of it...
But why doesn't Chens, if he's into Ivy, want his Ivy stuff?
... I wonder if I just answered my own question...
????
Moose, swap you for a Look In annual '73. In perfect nick other than the Slade pictures are cut out and there is some minor grafitti over the Donny Osmond pin ups.
It's a deal. Quite the Multicoloured Swap-Shop here.
And again, apologies for hijacking Cheggers' thread.
And I have some rare Tiswas videos, featuring that crumpet who we all used to lech over...
I'll give you a pair of clackers and an Evel Knievel rocket cycle...?
A good article on 'My Three Sons' on Ivy Style.
It was one of those programmes that gave young Brits ideas of what American clothes were like. Far more important than 'I Spy' IMO. Opening credits a good summary of footwear. Madras shirts always in evidence.
That should be someone's avatar Moose. Kind of brilliant.
It's not just Ivy style. I have seen numerous bloggers have posts that were related to things we have discussed here usually just days before the blogger "decides" to post about it.
Horace & Tony Ventresca know all too well what you mean...
