Duchamp's new look

http://duchamplondon.com/

They have an updated website with new goodies. They also have a blog with their director. I wonder if he wont live to regret that.

^ Violently coloured stuff. Looks like what a 1970s marketing man might wear.

Re: Duchamp's new look

I can vouch for the cufflinks, dandyish paisley's and flowers and very yeah. The socks strike me as too garrish and the shirts in the vein of a more vulgar Etro.

Never seen jackets on the website before.  There were some good deals on the website recently for cufflinks that I took advantage of.

I'm pretty certain that Elvis Costello is now sporting Duchamp shirts and ties.

The bird of paradise and secret garden ties caught me eye.  Those woven, viny florals are actually my favorite sort of tie motif.

Re: Duchamp's new look

The ties are well made and I like some of the less psychadelic designs. Matching pocket squares are a big NO.

Re: Duchamp's new look

Italy's version of Duchamp? maybe's...

Some nice casual stuff here. I especially like some of the collar designs. I've seen those square buttons on a shirt brand before, but can't remember which one. Equivoco or Caliban maybe...

Duchamp opened their first shop in NY: http://www.duchamplondon.com/marcs_blog/bloomingdales-new-york/

Has anybody here purchased one of their suits or jackets?

Re: Duchamp's new look

Watching a brand go down market is depressing. Ben Drew, Jay-Z? Really?

Re: Duchamp's new look

I actually thought some of the explorations in tweed were starting to get interesting, but that blog posting name dropping popstars who attended Glastonbury and Ralphy-boy is the kiss of death. Smacks of desperation.
