Is there such a thing as skinny dudes with 29" waists or are these decidedly youth sizes?

Here's a great looking raglan sleeved wool stadium jacket in the quintessential maroon colour that I'd love to find in my size:

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

If I'm unintentionally outing this for anyone, please let me know and I'll pull the link but with 2 days and 0 bids, I think it's fair game:

(coincidentally, did anyone here grab that navy Towncraft button-down the other day?)

Oil-liver, I've got a maroon stadium coat I may sell.  I like it but it may be prudent to unload it.  I'll give you dibs if so.

Thanks for keeping me in mind, brother man! That'd make my day.

I got your PM btw; I've just been out for most of the morning and haven't had a chance to respond yet.

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

I just wrote to the seller of this olive cord sack, requesting further measurements (with detailed instructions on how to take them) but I'm cynical based on the 24" chest so I might as well share the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Mens-Field-Stream-Green-Cotton-Lined-Corduroy-3-Button-Blazer-/301800979309?

Why the hell can't I find this in a 38??? It's the ONE item I've been hunting for years and the only thing I've not been able to source. Dig those perfectly slouchy shoulders... I'm envious of anyone that fits.

Update with seller's response: 19.5" shoulders... so approx. 42?

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

Not a fan of Keydge, Joey.

I prefer more substantial constructed/tailored jackets.

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

I think the problem is that cotton corduroy fabric wears hard. If you look at the abundance of Ivy League sport coats in the vintage market, 90% are durable wool/tweed/poly-synthetic blends. The more delicate cotton stuff incl. corduroy, seersucker, madras, etc. just hasn't lasted through the decades.
