l read alot of posts where people say they think bicycle-toe shoos are horrendous. l've never understood that line of thinking. What's so bad about two seems going parallel down the vamp of a shoo, why are they so hated?
Do you think this just another example of group thinking igents being sheep again. Have people always hated on bicycle-toe shoos or have they started hating them once they joined a gentlemans clothing message board?
That example above isn't horrible. Not my style at all, but workable.
In general, though, they just look weird to me. Especially when the seams are more prominent.
Dear Mr. Shooman.
Bicycle toe shoos are horrid.
That is all.

Bicycle toes always have the whiff of fashion about them, same as with square toes. I do have a pair of square toes, seriously regret buying them, one of them late night internt purchases that has no resonance on delivery.
Bicycle toes, especially square toes remind me of bankers shoos. 9/10 bankers will be wearing a pair, they are the uniform.
Square toes wore always worn years ago, so they are traditional just like the round and chisel toe.
A nice Bicycle toe shoo just looks like a mid level white collar job shoo. The problem is that many companies have produced ugly and poor quality bicycle toes, so the image is not a good one. l've seen some o.k bicycle toe shoos around, not spectacular designs but some are decent.
l saw some nice bicycle toes about 10 years ago when they were the height of highend fashion in Australia. l don't own any bicycle toes but l wish l had bought that pair at the time.
That Florsheim (above) looks o.k in the pic but it would look totally crap on someones foot after a afew wears.
