Crossover: The McGregor Anti-Freeze
Not really Ivy IMO. More 'Americana', thanks to the dubious James Dean connection. I had one for a season and people kept asking me if it was a Harrington. It was in a nice, subtle red and black check, but nylon throughout. They're neither fish nor fowl in a way, but they are quite warm during a blustery summer. I think one or two people on here like them.

Now being pushed as the 'James Dean' jacket. I believe, however, that the jury is still out. Not something I'd consider wearing now even if they were still inexpensive.

The JD Rebel jacket was a Bud Berma, not a McGregor it was 100% nylon though

A quick search reveals this to be the sole reference to Bud Berma on FNB. Thanks, Tom, good work.
A couple of jackets, rather shabby, are on offer on Ebay for anyone interested.
