The 'Modculture' Website...

Here's a plug:

http://www.modculture.co.uk/forum2/index.php?board=1.0

Cool site, on the whole.

The man of a thousand names has plugged me there... And he calls ME a 'Troll'?  Ahhhhh well -

Anyone & everyone is welcome over here, if you're interested.
Not much Mod but a lot of Ivy Info., if you want it.

In praise of Modcult., I'll say that David Walker is Kosher, and there are plenty of Global Ivy League enthusiasts who post there who know their Onions (& they're not all Green...)

Bomber? Jean Marc? Lots of Good Guys there. Add to the mix... Or not... it's a free Interweb!

Miles.

Re: The 'Modculture' Website...

Just a quick one (While he's away...) -

Thanks for all the Modculture PMs. By Friday I'll have answered them.
There's no rush - I'm staying here for a while.
Calm down Lads!

Yes, I have been through the door at the back of the Ivy shop, up 3 steps into... ?

Yes, I have had a gander at J. Simons' basement - Once & very briefly & I was considered a total nebbish for follwing Jeff down there.

Yes, long after the event I have been down in what was the basement of the Squire Shop on Brewer Street - Didn't see any Weejuns!

No, I am Nothing to do with Anything. I'm just an Ivy Enthusiast. Nothing wrong with enthusiasm... within reason.

Miles.

Re: The 'Modculture' Website...

Re: The 'Modculture' Website...

Mission statement:

Although we hear a lot from the American so called 'Trads' over here on the American forums, I honestly believe that some of the people who care most about Ivy League Style Clothes these days are to be found within the global Modernist community.
For them it is nothing to do with social class. They just love the style.

If any of them want to share their love for the style over here - Cool.

They are always interesting & would be a breath of fresh air compared to the 'Trad' take on the Natural shoulder style. So this thread is just to open the door to them.
No piss-takes over here. Anybody plays with you I'll support you to say whatever you want to say.

Yer old mate,  Miles.

Good on him for not mentioning the smell of the place these days. Wonder if it ponged the same back then too?

More like Jimmy Riddle than Jimmy the Mod.
