Who is the tie maker with tags marked "VII?"

"VII"

I have several ties, some made in England, some made in Italy, with this maker's mark. Some of the ties were from Ben Silver. I know Michael Drake's ties have a M.D. on the tags.

Anyone?

I don't know but one possibility could be Holliday & Brown.

Well, that would explain it. They're nice ties, certainly the equal of Michael Drake.

Can also be Seaward & Stern - see 1st post here:

It's used for "7 fold" ties apparently.
