Shame. First place I landed in Australia. I always thought the river was a pleasant way to commute into the city centre. Nice man-made beachs by the river in the heart of the city. It all looked so nice when the river was at normal levels.

I hope it is not as bad as predicted.

Its pretty bad up in qld.

Sadly many will learn not to build on flood plains.

already about 15 killed - 30 + missing. Sad.

And this is outside the major population centres - so these deaths are only from a total population I estimate of less than 500K?

up to 15 now ah, god were in a mess, half the countries under water, the other half is on fire, and we had black saturday last year...
