Autumn is the shortest month in the English countryside...
There are still leaves on the trees but it's far too cold now for my '1958 Stadium Chic' Autumn signature look to be sensible (Various G9s, Cords & Shetlands with Tartan scarves & BDs).
And so, moving on as always, this Winter my signature look will be 'Disgraced Prep School Master':
Plain or Candy striped OCBDs.
Shetlands with plenty of pill (Skinny Rep worn beneath showing just the top of the knot).
Tweed Sacks worn in the 'Armchair' style, ie. rather lived-in.
Cords & Bills with nicely rounded knees showing. No knife-edge creases for this look. Balding Cord is a plus.
Argyles & Penny loafers only, with tassels being saved for closer to Christmas (They're so much more festive don't you think?).
Various Tweed overcoats over the top.
To complete the style I shall be drinking slightly more than usual, but pretending that I haven't touched a drop all morning. The give-away will be the fact that I shall smell strongly of breath mints all day long.
Anybody else out there as stylish as me?
T.L.
I may alternate this with 'Disgraced Librarian' for a more casual look. I'll see how I feel.

I don't wear clothes... I wear dreams.
