I'm a refugee from Ask Andy. I originally joined there in hopes of learning something about a topic I have always had a modest interest in. I also thought I could contribute a bit on New England style, since I grew up with it. I confess, I hadn't learned anything there in many months. i suspect the reason is that many of the people with the greatest knowledge have gravitated here. FNB: your posted essays leave me in awe. just great stuff. and thanks to that kid Coolidge for referring me here. tom
I'm trying to remember my damn Latin: 'Magitor major". Does that translate to "The better Master"? So many years ago.
I've sat through learned lectures over the years, but FNB wears his knowledge with the easy fit of a trad tweed jacket, and, like the best teachers, makes learning a pleasure.
Good to see you on here. Always enjoyed your posts on AAAC and previous. Sorry to have knocked the American Songbook.

Very good to see you here, Sir.
I look forward to your posts.
I read more than I post but I also appreciate the more "wholesome" atmosphere this site gives off as opposed to some run by secret police forces.
