Doing a fully comprehensive study (but never released to the public) of the bespoke shoe market would be fasinating, but that's just me. We could talk about outworkers and who uses who, the time spent doing various work on the shoes by various names, the pros and cons of doing inhouse v's outworkers, the cost analysis, interviewing outworker attitudes v's inhouse attitudes etc. lt would be great to spend 2 - 3 years full time completing a world shoo study just for the thrill of it.
l wish l could just travel the world and write a regular shoo magazine. That would be one of the best jobs ever. Meet shoo people and write about shoos by day, and lecture on raw vegan foods at night = perfect life!

They were one of your greatest vintage purchases IMO and I think I had a hand in that?
