Went to the Chanel counter and picked up a bottle of what I thought was Pour Monsieur, but turned out to be Pour Monsieur Concentree, different bloody smell altogether! I didn't notice any difference in the packaging until I had opened and sprayed a month after purchase. It's nice enough I suppose, but I do feel a little cheated by the salesgirl and ultimately the company for marketing two different smells in too similar uniforms. The bottle itself is a completely different shape but with the same style livery if you get my drift, and as for the smell, it smells younger, coarser, and sporty- which I can assure you I am not. I have done a bit of web digging and see that my local BT sells the 1980's younger version instead of the 1950's original I shall be avoiding Chanel and their misleading packaging from now on.
I have become very fond of Aramis Havana. This is an old school scent for sure but is really a great scent. Exactly the way one would believe scotch and cigars would smell if you were looking at an old time movie.
