I was in the office on Wednesday and Friday. On Wednesday, police were all over Holborn. I asked why and was told it was a demonstration by the Congolese. I suppose after the earlier one they where they attacked carol singers they were ready for them this time. Syrian police would have been better IMO.

Friday the bastard cleaners took the milk away, so I could not get a cup of tea in the afternoon. No caffs open, so I mooched up to Bloomsbury, but no joy there either. The old engravers where we used to take our golf trophies is sadly now gone.
