A really enjoyable read here about English rtw shoos. lt's a good read because (unlike the forums) you get to read someone talk about shoos with a passion for a change. This bloke thinks how l do with the praise of the iconic Church's shoes and how their black shoes are sooo amazing, and how Trickers make the best looking best gunboats in England (the real deal country variety), and how Grenson do awesome shades of brown, and how Loake are so awesome, and how Jeffery West are so special etc etc. You don't get this type of talk on the forums because there is no passion...it's just a dead place full of showoffs and sheep who have no passion for their footwear. They seem to think that buying a dozen E.G's will make you a shooman and a hero, but one doesn't earn the title so easily. The bloke writing the articles below is a shooman because of the way he writes the story, he appreciates his shoos of all levels. He makes for a pleasant and warm read, such a change from the cold clinical reads l encounter on the forums everyday. Everyone wants to start at E.G, but no-one wants the full shoo experience and to fall in love with the products, people want to bag the lower end shoos and look down on them because they don't really understand anything about shoos or appreciate footwear...l don't get it.
