Gentlemen,
I'm clearing up the detritus of the long, very long holiday, and I realized that my "adjustable" formal tie the type with different sizes from 13 3/4 to 18 had lost its metal D-ring through the one end goes, and then wraps around in order to "hook" it into the appropriately sized hole. So I need a new D-Ring. The thought of throwing away an otherwise perfectly good tie appalls me. The how & why of its loss would not be appropriate to discuss here...
It just occurred to me that this tie, which apparently holds 3 patents, could have been made by anyone, had the patent been licensed, no?
Horace,
take this obviously fateful chance to change to a measured self-to-tie bow.
You´ll never miss your D-Ring again.....
