I haven't even finished watching the original series and they're now remaking it!

Ben Sherman was designing in the Seventies? So he isn't a cheap rip off of that era, he just never updated his designs?

LV is an old and the most successful brand of the luxury in the world. Nearly no one doesn’t know the Louis Vuitton, especially the louis vuitton handbags. As its development, the lv is a symbol of the travel art.
A world-famous brand needs lots hard work and creative spirit at this time. So you can see the louis vuitton is so giant now is not only because of its classic and brand influence.

On that Police series "Adam 12", there's a bank robbery and one of the customers in a light grey suit and light blue, tieless, shirt is wearing black and white spectators. I thought that an interesting detail to include on an extra in a California bank circa 1970.

Re: Perennial 60s-70s style thread

I can't find it now but there was a great interview with Michael Kaplan about Bradd Pitt's wardrobe in "Fight Club" which basically pointed to a re-worked 60s/70s look. The clothing had disappeared from view for long enough that men forgot they could wear printed shirts. I think that film is partly responsible for making printed shirts acceptable again. Certainly when I get a liberty print made into a short sleeve I cannot but feel I am channeling a little bit of both "Saturday Night Fever" and "Fight Club" . Movies and Magazines like GQ do create a legacy.

In this recent article, Kaplan discusses how he found this vintage leather to make Bradd Pitt's jackets.

Some of those belted car coats from the 70's are very cool, especially for casual. They had a renaissance over here in the early to mid 90's lots of students wore them.
