It's also worth remembering that they would have required more than one suit for the film, the famous crop dusting scene for instance may have required multiple takes, so for the sake of continuity...

So, is it possible that KF&S could have made enough suits to cover for this?

Maybe, KF&G made the suit for the promotional stills.
