Re: Double breasted suit, past and future

I have never had a problem with jackets flapping open, as long as the wearer is dynamic in his movements and has an air of casual elegance (in other words, no iGents). Overweight, slow moving men should keep them buttoned, but thinner fast moviing men can keep them open. The cut and proportions are a factor too, and some people I suppose get sweaty-palmed flashbacks to the 1980s.

I noticed the other day that Tiger has a number of double breasted suits  in their new collection this season. Jackets are very short, some with 8 buttons. http://www.tigerofsweden.com/en/Collection/Men/
