Please re-assure me that silverporsche is some recently arrived, semi literate villager from Afghanistan, who is attending english classes part time, and not some baller or VP or attorney.
Or perhaps nephew, of, vaclav
Never would enter my mind to buy a Jerry Garcia tie.
A Jerry Garcia joint or even rolling papers would be tempting as I'd assume there was some knowledgeable quality control. Ditto speakers or an amp.

Through judicious perusal of charity shops in upscale areas of our fair city, I had now managed to acquire three pairs of shoes from the Edward Green company. They were in poor condition but never mind. I contacted Mr. Green's place of business in Northampton and asked to speak to the person who made them. The company declined but, after I insisted and eventually turned up at their doorstep, they furnished me with design plans for the three models in question - the Twickenham, the Kingston and the Surbiton.
As it happens, my footwear is usually re-heeled by a cobbler in Surbiton but he is a rather surly oaf and does not respond favourably to my attempts to engage him in erudite and informed conversation about the shoe trade. It therefore occurred to me that - like the good Mr. Alden of the London Lounge - I should arrange a Sartorial Vacation. I have long heard of the fine work done by Mr. Byron Wellington of New Jersey, so I took it upon myself to visit his premises with the aforementioned Edward Green footwear. Here are the results of my vacation complete with photographs. I am sure you will all agree it was a worthwhile expedition.
